Reviews and Ratings
Staying in the cabin was a charming experience, reminiscent of simpler times. The cabin was clean and comfortable, which made our stay enjoyable. However, the odd smell of the warm water was quite off-putting. Overall, a pleasant trip with some quirks.
We had a lovely stay at this campground, enjoying its clean and well-maintained environment with spacious sites surrounded by nature. While our check-in process was quite unpleasant due to a rude staff interaction, the overall experience was enjoyable. The amenities were great for families and it's perfectly located for exploring the area. However, the check-in experience left us hesitant about returning.
This campground offers a lovely getaway surrounded by nature, perfect for families and friends. The spacious sites allowed for star gazing and a peaceful atmosphere; however, the overly strict quiet hours might not suit everyone, especially those looking to enjoy a fun night around the campfire. The staff was friendly, but the management's handling of noise complaints left much to be desired.
I had a wonderful stay at the campground for five nights. The area featured large, flat sites with a cozy fire pit and plenty of shade, making it perfect for relaxing evenings. Although it was a bit of a drive to the main attractions in Door County, the peaceful environment and friendly atmosphere made it worth it. However, I did notice the abundance of trees affected the Wi-Fi signal, and some campers may find it challenging to enjoy the outdoors without worrying about bugs falling from the trees.
Overall, I had a mixed experience at this resort. On one hand, the cabin we stayed in was quite nice and had a charming vibe, but the unpleasant smell of the water was a significant downside. The location was ideal for exploring the area, and I appreciated the great amenities around. However, the service we received from the staff was rather disappointing, as we felt targeted by their management style, which affected our enjoyment.
